Questions
I know that I am doing my truck no good. I dont get to use it and now that I am real busy I dont have the time to drive it as much as I would like. Today I needed it to pick up a car and it was running like the IC hose popped off. So I checked for codes and found P0611 (FICM Performance), and P0200 (we all know that one). I cleared the codes, checked the IC hoses and all was well. As I drove it it ran better, so I took it out and romped on it. I guess the veins were stuck in the turbo. Any suggestions for what I should do to keep this from happeneing. I am going to try to make it a point to drive it on the weekends now but I cant make any promises.
It has been sitting for about 3 weeks.
Should I get it in the next time this happens and just get the turbo replaced?
What would have caused the FICM code? I am going to replace the Filters just to be safe, but I always run an additive.
Thanks,
Sarge
