How to you center your front axle when you are done?
Icon adjsutable trac bar. That's pretty much the best replacement out there, and it's not a fixed bracket so you aren't changing one fixed placement for another.
It's a problem with any lift or leveling kit that doesn't come with a replacement trac bar, an adjsutable one, or a relocation bracket. I was about an inch to the driver's side with mine, wasn't a functional problem, just looked a little funny if you happned to stare head on at the front license plate sitting in a lawn chair and noticed it. Any more than 2" of lift and you'll need a solution though, most kits come with a bracket.
Mine isn't noticable (especially with the tires set closer in on stock wheels), because there's not a good angle to see both sides at once, unless you're squared up to the front and far enough back to see how far each tire sticks out.
TLC 3810 Yes most kits I looked at have this problem....Like Texastech said the only way, I could find, to fix the problem was to spend way more money and use a better kit. The 100-200 dollar kits all let your axle move.

That's what I installed on mine as well, Icon was called Donohoe at that time. You definitely need to get the adjustable trac-bar to center the front axle properly. It's also far beefier than the stock version.
Heres my 06 with the Bilstien Leveling Kit 2.25" I believe, new coils and shocks. First pic is with the OEM 18'2 and 285/65/18 BFG's Second Pic will be with the new DC2's and Goody Year Silent Armours in the same size...different offset though.
Are the Bilstein leveling coils that much better than just a spacer? How is the ride compared to stock?
What is the cost of the adjustable track bar? I am planning on putting on a leveling kit of some kind when I need new tires (still a year or so away). I am also going to install some F350 blocks in the rear so that it is lifted on both ends.
I have 3" and it looks great 'but' it sure rides rough; of course the overrides on the back can't help.
I didn't own the truck when it was stock; would a 3" still use a 'stock' shock?
The bilstien coild ride just like stock, maybe even a little better IMHO. I have the heavy service susoension so my truck ride a little rough anyway, but I fee no difference from stock performance with the Bilstein kit.
Good to know! The pricing didn't seem too bad on those, so that may be the route I go when it is time. Too bad I probably have 2-3 more years on the current tires!
