I will check on that later today. Waiting on my help to get back from yard saleing. Not too sure if that is whats going on, but it's easy enough to check when running a fuel cell.
I have been trying to find out if the pump that I'm using even has a check valve in it. It's an Aeromotive A1000 pump. But no matter what I search I havnt found an answer. Other than the Fuel cell and Pump the fuel system is stock. Pump is wired into the stock harness.
I already looked at FordFuelInjection.com. Didn't see anything that helped my situation.

are you using this pump as a replacement pump , and if so is is the original pump still in the tank and this pump plumbed on the outside ?
If this was stock setup. It would be a bad pump they continuously recirculate fuel this helps cool the pump. The regulator will hold the pressure for a while on the injector side of the fuel rail. Did this system you have ever work correctly. If so i would go with a different pump and yes you can get bad regulators new.
Been running this setup for about 5 years without a single problem. I will see if I can exchange the regulator with another. That's the part that these symptoms keep pointing at saying its not working right.
