I am on the road and have been for over a month. I am towing 10k TT. Today in Idaho it is just about 102 degrees. About 3 miles from our destination RV park on the freeway doing 65mph the truck just started to miss and loose power and the engine service light came on. We got off the freeway and limped into the RV park. No power could barley leave the stop sign. I unhooked the TT and started the truck, everything back to normal, truck running fine. Low fuel light had come. I topped off at 31 gallons (36 gallon tank). after restarting the service engine light is no longer on.
I ran it up to ford and now that it's running fine and suggested they check it for trouble codes. Too late today but If I drop it off tomorrow for the entire day they will sqease me in. I guess you could not expect much more than that. I am thinking it's computer related turning the truck off and back on must have reset something? Any thoughts?
Dilemma.....Spend a day at Ford to check it out or continue on home?
