As some of you know I use my truck for work. Often that means towing a trailer. One thing I noticed when I bought my F250 is that at the end of the day I am a lot less tired. It's not unusual for me drive 100 or more miles a day for work. In my old truck (2005 Tundra) I would be beat at the end of the day, now I can drive much longer with out being tired.
In empty daily driver use the stiff springs can be tiresome, but when on the road with the 5er its fabuloso. Lots of good ol' American car virtues; long wheelbase, ample elbow/shoulder/hip/leg room, and seats that fit me perfectly! All adds up to easy to drive a loong way. If it only had BMW steering...

I agree, My truck rides smoother and runs much better with a load.
The bigger the truck is relative to the tow load, the easier it is on the driver...it applies in class 8 trucks and it applies in pickup trucks. With everything else equal, give me 550 hp class 8 truck to haul a trailer across the US and it is a breeze...give me a 350 hp and it is work, hard work!
