One thing that I always do and recommend other to do is request a copy of the shop ticket that lists all of the repairs.
When a scheduled service, warranty repair or installation of accessories at the dealer are performed a record of that is accessible by us on our online OWNER website. The only thing I don't like about this internet service is the Ford service departments typically does not include all of the detailed information after a service or repair.
There is a fix for that. I add my own entry and give further explanations. Makes for a double post but who cares...it is on there server.
I'd check to see if the dealer can reflash your PCM.
Thanks, this is the help I was wanting. I am wanting some advice related to the idling and MPG symptoms not a discussion about the current manufactoring process or how I should have my service tickets done by the dealer. No offense but this thread got off track. I was looking for other owners that had similar issues so I could know the possible fixes and have an idea of what the dealer's service department would do to fix the issue.
They sometimes do. We aim to please around here but speaking for myself personally my A.D.D. kicks in and who knows what direction the topic might head in.
Got my truck back from dealer and they updated the computer to try to fix issues with rough idle and poor MPG. It has not helped any. So I guess I will taking back to the them again. I should have kept old truck or bought a different truck. Just getting frustrated wanting to enjoy my new truck but cant get all the bugs worked out!
