I bought a 1989 Bronco II for $400 and drove it halfway home. On the way home, I broke it. The engine stopped and would not start. I got gas but no spark so figured it was a timing chain. Long story short, it was a sheared woodruff key on the crank gear.
All said and done, new wheel cylinders, water pump, crank gear, oil, antifreeze, etc cost about $200. Add plates and government imposed taxes and crap and my total for a running sweet truck is about $750.
EVERYTHING works on this thing. I am so happy and want to thank the members of this forum for helping me.
