Working on a 1991 F-150, and there is a hose coming off of the air-filter box that is hanging loose, and seems to be missing a gasket/grommet holding it in place. I just need to know what to ask for when I go to the parts store.
There should be a small rectangular filter in the air box that looks something like this:
The nipple part sticks out through the hole in the box, your hose goes on it.. Some of these had a spring clip, not sure if yours needs one or not.. BUt thre parts store should be able to fix you up since you now know it is the crankcase emissions filter.. The NAPA number is: FIL 6976 if you have the 302...
Thanks for the quick response. And sure enough, after I made my first post, I decided to look again in the air box and realized what I was missing. Trip to O'Reillys in my near future.
