Lightbulb Air box

Hi and good day everyone ....I just had a question I noticed a hose from the top of the back of my air filter box. Should it go to something or just hang there ..''' what is it for'''' ...THANKS

Is it a vacuum line or a hose??

It's just a plastic tube like hose its about 1 inch in diamater, comes off the top of the back of the air filter box

I didn't have anything like that on my 1989, maybe a line for the PCV?

Can someone look at their 1986 and help out on this one.

i have the samething on on my 87 it's a plastic hose that goes to the passenger side manifold but since i have headers in there i just took it off. 88-90 don't have it anymore since they changed the airbox.

Sounds like the warm air thingy for cold temps, the newer ones came out the bottom of the air box.
