77 Highboy brake question....

77 Highboy brake question....
My 77's brake pedal likes to stay slightly pressed even when my foot is off the pedal. Stays down enough to keep the brake lights on. I have to pull it up with my foot to shut off the lights. What could cause this, master cylinder, booster, bad brakes? Thanks for the help

You might be able to adjust the switch down at the pedal to keep the lights from staying on. Its threaded and if the travel is enough it might work. I remember doing this to mine once.
