Hpop problem

I kinda figured that my hpop is leaking oil. Found a build up in the valley under the fuel bowl. Its been leaking for a while but i think i need to fix it soon. My truck has been running real baddly. It struggles to get above 50 mph. Iam wondering if this is a hard task to do. And advice, links where i could by a o ring kit, or anything else well be awsome. Thanks.

I'd check the Hpop fittings first, and go from there.

Might just need a new gasket.

Would it cause the truck to run like crap tho? The truck struggles and shakes alot when at a stop. Or could be a bad injector?

You need to collect a little more info. Like fuel pressure at the schrader valve near the fpr. Check of codes. After running check hpop level.

Has there been any new maintenance. Is the fuel filter good and how is the oil the level in the LPOP pan?

How did it start (the problem that is) suddenly or slowly.

My first thought was the IPR O-rings but there are other things that can contribute as well.

So code check
Then check the fuel supply line pressure
Oil level
HPOP level
Oil leaks
Then repost

Can you borrow a good scanner that will run a contribution and buzz test. I thought my rough running and low power were hpop till I ran a contribution and 2 and 4 failed. Got to looking and the pins for the injector had pulled out of the plug. Also check for burnt pins and wires.

When was the last time the fuel filter changed?
If you look inside the fuel bowl with the filter out on the driver side you will see a little hole with a screen in it cut the cotton off the end of a Q-TIP and lightly scrap the screen to clean it

How many miles in your engine oil?. Injectors doesnt like OLD oil.
