E4OD transmission issues
I have a 1995 F150, 5.8, E4OD, the trans was just rebuilt but now has the following issues; the coast clutch only works in first and second gear but not in 3rd, and there is not overdrive drive. I have pulled the valve bodies and made sure all the valves and springs are ok. I also checked the solenoid pack harness and there are 2 wires that have power as per specs. Any ideas before I pull the trans out?

E4OD transmission issues
The transmission worked fine until the forward planet stripped out while pulling a car trailer up a hill, never had any issues, also the trans had 180,000 miles on it. I replaced the 3 gear planet unit with a heavier 4 gear unit.

You need the tech guide for the E4OD. It sounds like you know enough about the transmission to work it out with the right troubleshooting charts.
Did you see the big thread on rebuilding the E4OD over in the transmission forum? I would ask over there also.
