Hood lifts while driving problem???

Hi, I'm new to the forum, I have a 1953 M100 that I'm slowly fixing up, I have a hood problem that I can't figure out, so I need help!!!. With the hood down and locked, once I start driving the two back corners near the windshield start to lift up, about 1-2 inches higher then the front of the cab. My hood springs are good.....I guess because the hood stays open on its own. Any ideas or help would be great.

First off, let me welcome you to the forum.
About your hood lifting in the rear, I would guess it to be the springs as they also pull the hood down. As the hood gets close to the fully closed position the hinge angle changes causing the spring force to draw the rear of the hood down.
If the hinges have been off the truck it could just need adjusted. Loosen the nuts holding them to the cab and close the hood. Push it down into position and tighten the nuts.
Good luck, let us know if this helps.

From: Moore (or less), OK.
You need to find a dwarf and tuck them in between the engine and inner fender wells.

Pull the kick panels in the cab, the hinges bolt through the side of the cowl area. Again, it's the HINGES, not the springs.
