The inner axle has 35 splines going into the pumpkin. The outer axle has 30 splines going into the hub.
A very common upgrade for off-roaders is to change the outer axle shaft for a 35 spline model.

Ok thanks guys. I got confused seeing some stuff that said 35 spline, and some that said 30 spline, some that said upgrade to 35 spline...
So if you upgraded to 35 spline outer shafts would you need a different set of locking hubs?

Correct. The Dana 70 front axle used on a few medium duty trucks uses the same U-joint but larger outer shafts with 35 splines. What someone figured out is that you could put the Dana 70 outer shaft and hub on to improve the strength.
Unless you're putting giant tires on or planning on really hammering it off road I wouldn't worry about it. Just put regular hubs on it and you'll probably never break it.
