I ended up returning the dash mount because I liked the windshield mount much better. The CTS doesn't fit into the dash mount quite as well as the CS does, so the windshield mount ended up looking cleaner.
That picture doesn't really give you a great view of how it is mounted, but it does give a nice view of my backup camera!

Not a problem, glad I could help. I actually bought a dash mount pod as well and the adapter, but I think I am going to keep the CTS up by the rear view mirror instead. I do however need to get an extension cable.

I went with the pod because my interior is grey, the pod is grey & I preffer the pod, it leaves less of a blind spot there, just my .02..............now I gotta get the fuel pressure setup....

I am however running custom tunes from Matt at Gearhead Automotive...........HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. And I'm not alone, do a search for him.
