I have a 2005 F250 Crew Cab 4x4. I have a very unusual issue related to what seems like torque steer. When driving down the road the truck tracks straight. If I step on the accelerator for a hard accelleration, the truck will pull left. When I let off the accelerator, the truck will pull right. This is not a subtle pull from the crown of the road or anything similar. The pull is not strong (as I can easily compensate while driving) but will significantly change direction of the vehicle (will almost change lanes over a short length of road).
The front end has been completely rebuilt (ball joints, tire rod ends, drag link, etc...). The only thing I can attribute to this would be the bushings on the radius arms or the bushing on the rear leaf springs.
Has anyone had a similar issue and how did you resolve it.
