What gear ratio are you runnin'? If a stock 3.73, moving to a higher numeric ratio should help your mpg's. Also, you're likely gettin' better than 5mpg 'cause your 37 (or 40) inch tire 'revolutions per mile' are less than stock, meanin' your odometer will read less than actual. So, maybe you're gettin' 7mpg, doesn't that make ya feel much better?

430's are a more common upgrade for our Ex's.
If you have 285's you will benefit from the 430's specially around town driving. However you will lose a little mpg on highway driving.
Hope this helps,
and all my other *gizmo* i have on there i did my mpg i am getting a tad bit over 13.2 mpg 35% city 65% hway..... if i used every drop of gas: 13.2 x 44gal = 580.8 miles for one tank. not bad for a V10 with 44gal tank

Dont pay attention to the lie-o-meter do the calculations by hand or cal.
just fill up (ouch!) reset your trip odd then drive till half tank, fill up again (ouch x2) then devide how many gallons it took to put back in there on THE FIRST STOP to the trip odd number
so it will be like this (miles drove) devide by gals = mpg
i am not good at explaining things lol
Let me know what you are getting!
