so i am getting my tbird 390 together , installed cam and thrust plate
look at book and it shows a "washer " between the cam and thrust plate . when i took motor apart it was not there . i searched for this part on ebay etc... with no luck anyone now the diameter and thickness ? can i use a generic washer the same size ? or am i on a search ?
thanks for the help !
That washer was used in very early FEs. They changed and the cam gear has the washer built in. Not really a washer any more; Sort of like a boss on the back of the sprocket.
THANK YOU !!! i was going nuts trying to figure out what to do , i was going to rip my 360 apart to pirate the part . lol i would have spent hours just to find out there wasn't one .
