Neutral safety switch

My neutral safety switch was missing from the column when I bought my truck. I assume that a PO bypassed it because the truck starts in any gear. I am trying to figure out where the wires are that go to the NSS. Does anyone have a pic of the wires to the NSS or can anyone tell me what color the wires are and how many I should be looking for?

Your truck like mine is probably a converted 3 spd manual on the column, that does not have the wires to use. I have been running a C6 without for 12 or so years.

You can make it a concern, or get used to it. The only difference is that it will start in any gear, but who do you know that would try to start anything not in park, we are used to having to.

No one else drives my truck. I see it as a non issue.

Mine was an automatic from the factory. I'm sure the wires are in there somewhere.

OK you have a C-O-M, don't think it had that feature, but my recall is not that great.

Someone else can advise.
