Just replaced my drivers side upper control arm due to a bad ball joint and replaced the front shocks as well since they were due. The car was on jack stands and I had the key in the "on" position to turn the wheels and have access to the shocks. There was a small pop and the power steering cap was off partially. Now the front wheels shake when turned either on the ground or up on stands. Could this be that the power steering pump is bad? It still turns easily but has the shake. The pump was just flushed at 96,000 miles a week ago at the oil shop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
