POWERMAX Turbo ???
Couple questions about the PowerMax turbo..

1. It it just a bolt on turbo?
2. Will they make the truck run better in the stock configuration?
3. Will it run better with a SCT tuner than a stock turbo and SCT tuner?
4. Are they more reliable than the stock 2006 turbo?
5. How much can I get for my stock turbo?

5. How much can I get for my stock turbo? If your looking to sell your stock turbo to pay for the new turbo that won't happen...but maybe a few hundred if someone wants a stock 06 turbo.

yes its direct bolt on
no you wont hardly see a difference with stock config.
yes it will improve alittle with a tuner thats tuned for the powermax
according to people i trust about this stuff its redesigned inside so that the vanes dont stick and so its more reliable. i havent heard of one going south yet

Yes it is a direct replacement turbo, yes it will run better than a stock turbo would when usin a SCT programer, and clay at riffraff diesel has the best price I have found on them.

2007 was the year they had a grove to improve the relability. Less prone to sticking vanes.
I was hoping I could get close to half the price of the Powermax for my stock one.
I get it quite a bit cheaper than that price above.
I do not want to go with injectors, just the tuner. Sounds like a nice little upgraded turbo.
