OK, based on some more searches...the single pot master cylinders are 1" bore for the F-100 and 1-1/8" bore for the F-250. What do you guys think of this kit?

I don't see anything wrong with that kit. Be sure to let us know how it works out if you get it!

Got this back from customer service: Our BM15473-1 is for drum/drum brakes and the BM15473-2 is for disc/drum or disc/disc. And yes, the firewall on the F250 should be the same as the F100. When your splicing into the vacuum line, just be sure you have 18" of vacuum at the booster at idle, or the booster won't work properly.

The drum/drum version is not on their website so you must call them!!!

Will a stock 292 Y block pull 18" vacuum? Mine actually has a 4100 4V on it...stock otherwise.

OK, got off the phone with MP Brakes. The only difference between the two kits are as follows:
BM15473-1 uses a 1" bore master cylinder
BM15473-2 uses a 1-1/8" bore master cylinder
Master cylinders are off a Corvette

So it looks like the F100 would use the -1 kit and the F250 would use the -2 kit. I ordered the -2 kit. Both their kits uses a bell crank to fix the pedal ratio for the power boost set up. From the pictures, it looks like the booster sits up high to avoid clearance issues with the 292 valve covers.

Whenever I get it all together, I'll try to remember to post pics and let you all know how it works. I did a disk conversion on my 74 Bronco so plan to use the H block from the Bronco's old drum/drum set up.

The disc brake link no longer seems to work. I'm working on my manual disc brake conversion now, using a Scarebird adapter and various NAPA parts. The instructions are rather vague in regard to master cylinder, prop valve and brake lines. Late 70's Ford manual master cylinder is suggested. Will similar year brake lines and prop valve fit to a '66 2WD frame?

Making progress on my swap. I had to elongate the mounting holes wider with a rat tail file. I used the shorter of the two-supplied rods that hook to the brake pedal. I had to toss the lock nut and run the rod as short as possible then it lined up. The pin was a bear to drive in. I tapered the pin a little using a grinder and used anti-seize for lube. Had to tap it in with a small tack hammer and backed it with a boot heel body dolly. Forgot to buy a couple of Wilwood 10psi residual valves so project is waiting for that and a 1/2" x 1/2" x 3/8" brass barbed Tee to tap upstream of my PCV valve hose. I have a Autolite 4100 4V with a 1 inch Ford spacer on top of a 57 T-Bird intake on my 292. Had to replumb the factory PCV.
New vs old

Now to plumb the lines, residual valves and brake switch.

Did you finish this project? Would be great to see an updated pic with the final install if you have time.

Yes I did. The brakes are somewhat sensitive now. It feels like a typical 1960s vehicle with power brakes. I have a 68 Cougar with power disks for comparison.<br/>

If you notice, I changed out the Ford 1" spacer with a solid aluminum one with a PCV port to eliminate a small vacuum leak.

Thanks for the pics. Looks great!

I'm about to install this unit on my '65 F-100. Did you get the pressure switch housing and fittings from MasterPower as well?

Go to my other thread for the different parts and where to get them. You can find it here:

I installed a dual master from a 1967. All drum. Works flawlessly. It's been a few years since I did it. So do your research.

Did you get it off of a donor truck or buy at a parts store?
