alt. not charging
My alternator quit charging 2 weeks ago. replaced it with an autozone alt, now this one one charge. i load tested the bAatteries twice, had the old alt tested, it showed good but they gave me another anyway. iam seeing no differance in voltage between running and not running. could the charge protect be telling my alt not to charge, if so, what controls this?

I'd take a look at the connector at the alternator if you haven't already. No battery light lit I presume.

No battery light. I checked the connector a few times
