I can't remember what it's called, but there's a product that removes scratches from paint, if they're not too deep. It's a cream of sorts that you rub into the scratches and it removes them somehow. It should be available at your local parts store.

Well according to this webpage on O'Reillys website, it's just called scratch remover.
