hood hinge question

hey guys i bought a 97 f350 203,000 miles. powerstroke diesel.
the hood will not stay up. is there a way to put more tension
on the springs without breaking my arm. thanks for any help

nope you might have a broken spring if it cant stay up by itself best bet is to replace the springs

can always do the old hillbilly method with a 2x4.

Make sure you make up some crazy name and write it on there with a felt tip.
