thanks guys. they are both 4wd but 95 is crewcab long box and 91 is reg cab long box so i am sure will have to build drive lines , but will i need different fly wheel? and dont know if motors are interchangeable thinking of keeping motor out of 91 just in case but will it work in 95
The flywheel should fit fine, and I think the driveshaft in the auto will be fine too. The tranny's are the same length.
Use the starter from the manual transmission truck when you do the swap.
I went through five starters before I realized this...
the drive shafts will not work cause the transmissions are diff lengths Also u will want to change the computers just simple plug and go though so not to bad
You'll just need a computer off a 460 with a manual tranny. There are other types that vary by californina emissions or the rest of the Country, and also some vary by Elevation. Make sure when you get the actual transmission you get one with the Big block bellhousing. the small block wont fit. I think diesels are differeent as well.
