ok ive been trying to figure out a way to lift this truck its only 2wd and ive seen plenty of them lowered just want to do something different. also im need hepl figuring out how to adjust the clutch too
I need help figuring out how to adjust the clutch.
Welcome to FTE
The clutch adjustment rod attaches to the clutch equalizer (aka Z) bar, has threads on one end.
The threaded end has a nut, there is a round conical shaped threaded spacer that fits to the backside of the clutch fork...that has a round hole in it for the spacer.
The spacer threads onto the rod, tightning it adjusts the clutch, then the nut on the threaded rod is then tightned up to the spacer to keep the clutch in adjustment.

They have to be a reasonable size........I have made blocks from one inch aluminum stacking 2 together, worked fine. Spring shops will sell you u-bolts any size you want.
Good luck.
ok i was looking for 2 inch blocks didnt want to go to big just wanted to make sure i didnt break anything cause i found some made out of cast iron or something i know its not aluminum
I lifted my 63 f250 in the front. first thing is take the leaf springs out and find a shop to re-arch them. 2.5 inches is all you can go without any mods to the spring eyes. (making a new top leaf)
from there i made my own 2" blocks from reciver hitch material got a long leaf spring center bolt and ran it all the way through the block and springs. you will need to mod (Z)the drag link if you go more than 2 inches. i had the spring shop make me 2.5" longer U bolts
