marathon windshield wipers

About a week ago, my windshield wipers started to not cut off in the right place, they would go down then come up a few inches then turn off. Sometimes they wont turn off at all and sometimes they work perfectly. It seems to mess up the worst when its raining or really wet. Any idea as to what this could be fellas?

I have seen a bad ground on the wiper motor cause this.

The park position is built into the motor, regardless of the interval governor. If they don't stop in the right place, it's definitely the motor.

Well it looks like I may have to replace my motor then. My girlfriend makes fun of it when the wipers wont stop. I wonder if i can grab the one off of my friends 1980 parts truck? Hmm...
