An good electric fencer would also work good too, however not nearly as powerful as coils.

Just don't let your dog do his duty on the wheels....

It would teach your dog not to go on your truck, wouldn't it. It would be funny to watch, or even your drunk friend that has to pee. Now that is quality, security and entertainment!

This sudden surge wouldn't wess anything up on a newer truck would it. It might just be a cool security idea for my 94. If you could make one of those remote wireless switches, like some off road lights come with now, work it would be even cooler.

another though, just mount an air powered ram in the grill, attach ad nice sizeds crowbar, rig it with a vibration switch to activate it, and hope the moron that is messing with the truck is kinda short! Might break a few knee-caps but would be affective.

How about a VERY loud horn(130-150dB). Use a switch (like what is used to turn out the light in a refrigerator) mounted to the core support (under the spring, for one) When the hood is opened, the horn goes off and scares the beejeebers out of the would be thief(and possibly hurts his hearing). Wire a shut off switch in a hidden place inside the cab so you can shut it off when YOU need to get under the hood.

You can get pepper spray shells for a 12ga shotgun. That'll ruin your day.

Kinda like them 130 DB air horns thats behind my grill now. I have a OEM hood lock on my '79 F150 now and a coil kill switch.
My air horn is more high pitched that a semi's horn ,almost like a train whistle. I like to scare people with it

Back when cars had fender skirts, we used to glue razor blades to the edges. A few fishooks can work wonders also.

BigBlu's Mom says, "WOO HOO" for all the Great ideas.

I particularly like the pepper spray shells for my 12 ga.

Rock Salt mixed with buckshot is amazing to HEAR, Fool's Alert.....happened when BigBlu was "a Baby".

Amazing how fast it dissolved my front door at point blank range! I warned him to speak Up or RUN ..... LMAO !!!!

Headline read, "Cat Burglar Caught, Wounded By Local Resident" Springfield, Missouri.

Now Ya'll KNOW I have the BEST Daughter A MOM could ask for!!
