4.9 fuel injection help!!
I need some help on what to do. My '91 F-150, 300 in. six was hesitating when I gave it gas at low speed and was hard to start when warm. I replaced O2 sensor and spark plugs- no change. Shop said injectors were leaking down and cleaned them with the stuff they put in the rail. It didn't help so I put in new injectors myself and it runs much better but is still hard to start warm. I need to put the pedal on the floor and crank a lot then it acts rich until cleared out. Starts good cold. I thought it might be the pressure regulator and put a gauge on the rail. It reads as it should, key on 58#, idle 48#, vac line pulled and it increases about 10#. It doesn't leak down when engine is stopped so I guess the injectors are ok now. Reads almost the same hot or cold. Any ideas what to do next?

Fixed! I looked back over past post and decided to try replacing the ECT and ACT sensors even though shop said code reader showed no problem with any sensors. That did the trick, runs great now with new injectors, plugs, O2, ECT and ACT sensors. Ready to go another 20 years!
