Okay I have heard talk about the LUK SMF kit having its own special bolt pattern for the pressure plate, is this true? Any pictures or specs would be great! This must be why luk is so proud of their near 380 repset for the SMF kit.
The price isn't bad when you consider you get the flywheel, clutch disc, and pressure plate all for the same money.I believe the throwout bearing and the pilot bearing are also included.
No the luk REPSET is only a replacement pressure plate and clutch disc with a TOB no flywheel included. This is to service your SMF if you already bought the whole kit. Otherwise its almost 600.00. I just wanted to know for sure if LUK really uses a special bolt pattern for their pressure plates?
Ok, my mistake. It has been a while but a friend had bought the whole kit for the $400 when the DMF melted down. It had slipped long enough and bad enough that the spring coatings and such had all melted in the DMF flywheel, and he found the Luk set for well less than any other, and was tickled with it when it was all back together, as was his father,t he owner of the truck. SO that was why I misunderstood. I unfortunately can't answer, but would seem reasonable, since there is no factory application.
