just installed a new fuel pump into the front tank of my 96 f250 5.8. had a cheap fuel line remover tool and couldnt get the fuel lines off. went out and picked up a good tool and lines came right off. just tried to reinstall the lines and saw i had damged the inside of the quick connect fitting that goes in above the fuel pump. the fuel line is on only about 2' long but goes into a block with the other lines so i cant remove to replace. how the heck do i get this line off. it goes into a small block along with the other lines. theres no quick connect where the line goes into the block. does this mean i have to replace all the lines and the block because of the fitting? Can I replace the braided line with rubber fuel injection hose and clamps. if so do i cut off the braided hose at the block or is there a way to remove it?

I think you can use a special rubber or nylon
