Can't Find Remote Start Settings

When I remote start my truck the drivers seat AC is on when I get into the truck. According to the owners manual the AC seat control is in the "Remote Start" settings. The problem is, I can't find the "Remote Start" settings. Would someone tell me where it is?

If I remember correct it's all the way to the right on dash and in advance settings. Stuck has to be in park for it to pop up also.

Yes, only accessed through your steering wheel and dash setting display. Same place have lane keep, parking, alarm settings.

Advanced Settings --> Vehicle --> Remote Start --> Climate Control.

Select Last Setting...although it doesn't work on mine. My cooled seats come on with remote start and stay on until I switch them off no matter what setting I try. Annoying.

Same here. Hopefully the dealer can correct that when I take it on for my 1st oil change.

When you have it set to AUTO shouldn't this be the normal operation procedure? Or are you expecting them to turn off after some time?

EDIT: Sorry I see you stated it does it no matter what setting you choose....reading can be hard.

You would probably want to turn it off of AUTO in the winter.

I ran mine with AUTO this winter but it would kick the AC seats on when the outside temp was somewhere in the 40s.

My first truck did this. Mind you only ever got to try out the heated seats and defrost. What I noted is the lights stayed lit on the heated seats after I got in and pressed the start button (truck already running because of remote start).

Now my second truck which was made pretty much same date of the first one still turns the auto climate setting on for remote start but the lights on seats do NOT light up. When I get in and hit the start button they stay off and my old climate settings take over.

So one truck did what your saying. Other truck did not. First one bugged me because the steering wheel stayed on and it's a few steps to turn it off.

When I go in for my first oil change I doubt I'll mention it and just live with it. I did the Lincoln Auto-fold mirror edit using Forescan, so I'm afraid they'll just reflash everything in an attempt to fix it (and the other issues with the information display...trailer memory issue). If they do that I'm told the mirrors will do the exact opposite of what they do now.

I have the climate control to use the last setting. Most of the time I shut down the truck with the auto climate control off, and rarely use the air conditioned seats. If it is cold out, the heated seats come on automatically, which is nice at times, but still should not be coming on because that function was not used as my last setting.
