cheap 08 tail lights...is something wrong?

Looking for a set of 08-11 tail lights to put on my truck. Found these on Ebay for only $50, seems too cheap to be true. I can't find anything wrong with them though. It says 'aftermarket OEM replacement.' Should I buy these? How much are you guys paying for your 08 lights?

They're probably fine, just manufactured cheaply and not to the same tolerances. They might fade or not line up perfectly.

If you want, try RockAuto.com. They let you chose the quality of the part.
  • Economy Reproduction, $23.79/per side
  • Regular Reproduction, $23,79/per side
  • CAPA Certified Reproduction, $27.79/per side
  • Factory Refurbished, $55.79/per side

CAPA is The Certified Automotive Parts Association and is sort of a regulatory body to ensure quality reproduction parts.

Well I might as well buy the CAPA ones then for a few bucks more. I forgot all about rock auto. Thanks!

For some people it is fine, for others like me can't stand cheap after market stuff. I am OEM all the way for replacement parts!
