1965 f250 2wd disc brake conversion
Howdy y'all, I'm quite familiar with the disc brake swaps for f-100's, but I'm going to check out a '65 F250 this afternoon and I was wondering if anybody knew about discs for the eight luggers. Is it the same process as the 1/2 tons but using a 3/4 doner? It's 2wd without power steering, I'm sure it will need alot of front end and brake work, I want to kill two birds with one stone and go with power disc brakes. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm glad you asked, I need to know the same thing. My father has a 65' F250 that he wants to put Disc Brakes on. I would like to know if the same swap can be done for the 250 as the 100.
Other than the lug difference, does the donor have to be a 250, or can it be a 100? And if you find one that has a tilt wheel, can that bolt in as well?
Jowilker you out there? I know you are the expert on this swap.
TIA
Mike

Yes....
The same swap can be performed on the 250's as the 100/150's. Of course the difference is in the level of duty-nees you wish. I would stick with like tonage vehicles. Beside, you don't want two differnt bolt patters between front and back hubs...
