crazy story
So i just got home from work and as soon as i walk in the door my brother comes flying out and says "hey can you help me tow my car out of some guys yard?!" lol i said ok lets go get a strap. my brother has a 2003 jetta 1.8 turbo, its slammed to the ground and a bunch of stuff done to it, its not a ford and its not muscle but its pretty damn fast. the fact that it is fast is what got him in trouble lol. so he was coming up around a curve to a stop sign going 70 is what he said. he said when he took the curve the rear end slid out and he went sideways through the corner of a yard, of the curb hit the street, since its so low he cracked or ripped the oil pan off, up into another yard over the steps to the porch, and through the railing into the driveway. so we get there and the cops and firetrucks are there and guess what my brother had a couple beers. great! so long story short he didnt get arrested, the car ended up getting towed home, and now im relaxing finally after work

I cant say I didnt do the same with a Iroc back in the 90's ... I thought it was funny to goose it over a snow drift after a light dusting. Found myself deep in a side yard faster then ****. (No drinks in me, thats just stupid)
Happy your bro is ok and the car repairs may slow him down next time... " May" being key word. It does take a lot to make a jetta step out. I have owned 3. He was surly 30+ faster then the corner could handle if the car was lowered with sport suspension and not hack work.

Ha, he got lucky they didn't bust him for leaving the accident scene! That's what happened to my friend when he got stuck in a ditch because of some ^$^%* cutting him off! He walked to a store, called me, and by the time we got back, full of cape cornhole(cape coral,fla) cops and he got busted for leaving the scene. At least I was able to not get his truck towed as we knew the driver!
