2010 screw fx 150 $29500 good or bad price?

Never bought this new of a truck from a dealer. I really like the screw FX series of the F150. I need the long bed and they seem hard to come by. Is 29500 out the door an okay price for this truck?

Forgot to mention it has 17k miles, 1 owner. Salesguy said he was a teacher/friend and needed to downsize to buy a bigger home. I dont believe him but thats what he said.

Need your thoughts, might buy this thing tomorrow.

I just bought a 2011 XLT 4x4 and paid less than 30K out the door. So no, I don't believe it's a great deal especially with 17K on the clock.

But we must remember that used trucks are holding wicked value right now and used trucks are not the best deal in town anymore.

I think that's too much for a used truck, you could probably get a brand new one right now for the same price or maybe a little cheaper. The truck is still pretty new with only 17k on it, but you shouldn't have to pay new price for it.

I bought a 2010 STX 4x4 brand new with 0 miles on it and paid $27,000 for it. It also had a sticker price of 34,000. so you should be able to get well below $29,000 since it is used.

As fordman19762003 said, you might as well buy a new one for the same price. Then you get the new engines.

I think what most of the responders failed to note was that the truck you are looking at is an FX with upgraded leather and 20" rims while the vehicles they are comparing it to were XLTs and STXs, both cheaper models. Have you kelly blue booked it?

I honestly don't think you are too far off and that 27-30k would be the right price on a '10 FX2.

You are getting $9,375.00 off the MSRP of a 2010 FX2. I just got a 2011 FX2 with leather, 20 inch wheels, and all the goodies except nav (with 15 miles on it) for $8,717.00 off MSRP. That's only a $658.00 difference. And I know others have done better then me.

Try for a new one for that price or demand another 3K off.

This shows that a a good deal is defined differently by different folks.

If the OP thinks he's getting a good deal then he's getting a good deal. As I stated before, the price of used trucks is ridiculous and a new truck can be had for very similar money and with potentially better financing terms, the full warranty and all of the dealer / factory incentives.

If he did a deal on a comparable 4x2 truck and compared the numbers, I'll wager that he'll come out as good or better.
