2004 F-150, 5.4 lt
On the passenger side of the oil pan, there is a plastic sensor. I believe that it detects low oil. It is leaking around the sensor.
Is this an easy fix, ie... replace a gasket or sensor?

Does the oil pan need removed to replace gasket?

I cant comment on the sensor But if the oil pan gasket needs to be changed the motor needs to be raised and trans. pulled if you go that far do the rear main.
Had mine done 3 month ago at dealer $800.00 to change both. it was $ 100.00 more to do rear seal.
