Eddie Bauer Mirrors

I bought a pair of mirrors site unseen as my buudy was in the area and he picked them up for me. I was wondering if anyone has changed the connectors or hard wired them as these have a light and turn signals and my 2000 does not. I would love to install them but if the plugs don't work seems pointless. Hope you have some answers.

My last Expedition had power mirrors without heat or turn signals. The turn signals made no difference to me but heated mirrors are a nice thing to have. So I ordered the ones with the heat, ran the necessary extra wires and hardwired the connections. I never regretted doing it.

I did the same thing as alloro. I went and found an Expy in the junk yard that had that option originally and got the vehicle side plug-ins and as much of the loom as I could. From there you will have to find where you need to tap in to the wiring to get the power you need. If you can get ahold of a wiring diagram for your Expy that would make things a lot easier.
