Installed the Predator on my 02' PSD. Currently have only ran the 60HP setting. Sweet! My wife drove the truck the next morning. Called me on my cell and ask'd what did I do to it this time.
A very noticeable difference from the 60 HP setting on the SCMT that was previously installed. According to my digital mileage indicator, I'm getting 23.4 mpg highway.

Installed the TYMAR intake the following day. All I can say is, it breathes. My mileage went up to 26.4mpg on the highway. I'll be verifying this by performing actual calculations. I'm a little sceptical that my 1-ton cc. psd is achiiving that awesome fuel mileage.

Very happy with both additions and would highly recommend them.

 

Would like to chat with someone else who has installed the Predator.

 

I would really like to get some more feedback before i purchase mine. Confirmed fuel mileage etc..

what do you think of the tymar? does it make the truck sound different? im looking at doing these on my 2002 cc psd.

 

The Tymar is an awesome intake.

My bad, I neglected to answer your question. Yes it does sound different. You can hear the air flow. Especially as the RPM's change.

When my wife road in it the first time after the install, she asked what that noise was I just said it's breathing better

 

is it loud with win dows up?
i like my quiet cab but am looking at a chip and intake kit.
my wife also likes the cab quiet...

 

No, it's not loud in the cab. You can just hear it breathe better. The tuner or chip will change the sound of the exhaust. My exhaust is factory less the muffler. I will be installing a new system soon though.
