Escape A/C Clutch replacement help
I have a 2003 2.0 Escape. My a/c clutch went bad, Got the old one off, but my question is how do get the new coil field back on? It is the press fit type. I borrowed the A/c removal/install kit from my local parts store but I and the guys at the store cannot figure out how to get the new field coil on using that kit.
Any help would be great.

Ive been putting them on with a hammer for years. You just need to use care and dont beat up the crank shaft or threads and dont mash the flange to where the pulley wont spin free. I guess its easier said than done but Ive done hundreds of them that way. If in doubt pay a dealer to pop it on for you. Make sure you line up the coil connector correctly.
