A/C Clutch replacement
I have a 2003 2.0 Escape. My a/c clutch went bad, Got the old one off, but my question is how do get the new coil field back on? It is the press fit type. I borrowed the A/c removal/install kit from my local parts store but I and the guys at the store cannot figure out how to get the new field coil on using that kit.
Any help would be great.

I downloaded a PDF covering the clutch replacement but attachments aren't allowed here. From the picture, you use the puller in reverse to push the coil on by placing the jaws on part of the house that solid. It says that its tight, align carefully while installing.

That is exactly what I did. The field coil was 'pressed on' with a piece of plywood and my trusty hammer.
