I have spent many hours reading forums and researching product and have finally got a plan. I am getting ready to replace my oil cooler and EGR cooler but have a couple of questions. Listed will be what I have planned but I know I read somewhere to replace some sensors and it should be easier when the top is apart, can someone chime in on what repairs I am forgetting? Thanks 04 F350 6.0 62,000 Prior EGR cooler replacement under warranty Deltas 30 degrees
Oil cooler/EGR cooler, Sinsiter or BPD Sinister is almost $200.00 less for kit
Coolant filter kit, Sinister
Fuel pump upgrade kit, do I need this or just spring?
Oil feed tube
Turbo drain
Banjo bolts
Turbo mounting bolt kit
Thermostat
VC-9 flush after repair or before?
Fill with some type of ELC that meets mfg specs
I will clean intake and EGR valve
Clean EBP pipe, should I replace EBP sensor?
This is what I have. What am I missing? I want to order parts all at once. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Will not be doing Head studs as I am sure my gaskets are good. At least I hope they are.

Fuel pump upgrade kit, do I need this or just spring? (spring, there are a few different kits out there so find the one that you want. Get a fuel gauge. I use an oil pressure gauge that was $30 from harbor freight.
Oil feed tube (Is the tube on the truck have a flex section? if so than this is a good idea but not NEEDED.
Turbo drain (same here, good idea but not NEEDED.
Banjo bolts (I drilled mine out)
Turbo mounting bolt kit (not needed)
Thermostat (not needed unless it is bad.)
VC-9 flush after repair or before? (Some are clogging their systems doing the flush after. I would do it before and after.)
Fill with some type of ELC that meets mfg specs
I will clean intake and EGR valve (I had my intake soak in purple power, Ajax, dish washer machine soap for 5 days to remove the junk.)
Clean EBP pipe, should I replace EBP sensor? (no need to replace it unless it is bad, just clean the sensor with (what i did for fun one day) purple power and MAF sensor cleaner.

when you do the oil cooler and you remove the oil/fuel filter housing, try and stuff a tube down the oil holes and suck the oil out to remove the oil in the oil cooler, you will have less of a mess.

Thanks for the reply and I will suction oil after housing removal. I just found another possible upgrade. The HPOP upgrade, what do you think of this?
I did the Bullet Proof Diesel EGR cooler and a new OEM oil cooler. While you are in there replace the oil sump screen and you can get an IPR sensor rebuild kit. Don't forget intake gaskets. I bought a turkey baster for about $3 to suck the oil out of the sump. I had shop towels ready to block it from running out the valley when I popped the oil cooler out. I would buy the new turbo bolts kit. All yours might not be there. I used BrakeKleen, purple power and a pressure washer to get all the black gooey crap out of my intake.

If I decide not to do the IPR kit since I am not having problems I can do it later with little work involved correct?
I had a bad EGR cooler and decided why not tackle it all at once. Had 58,000 miles on my 05. Yes its overboard but not to worried now. We pulled the motor and with the great advice from everyone here we were able to do this without to much problem. EGR Cooler delete

No your doing the right things. I just went overboard as everything I had read I kept adding things to change. I figured it was easier to do while the engine was out then having to go back after its back together. The new radiator solved some heating issues I had when towing so that is why I did that with the t-stat.
