Rust stains on concrete ect...

My well water for sprinkling is a bit on the rusty side . Do any of you know of a good product for removing the stains . I already googled it & the results were inconclusive ...

Thanks ...

I use bleach, pour it on, and scrub with an old sweep broom. then just hose it off.

Pretty bad, I did a lot of grinding when I was welding on the truck, that went on for a while, the rains sank it in pretty good.

They also have a product called CLR, calcium, rust, lime that does good in my tub,we have a well that leaves rust stains too, never tried it outside though.

Muriatic acid will eat away at the concrete.

Don't leave it on there long. A little at a time. Go to Lowes and get concrete sealer, cover your concrete. The next time it will wash off.

Try a poultice of Oxalic acid.
http://www.ehow.com/info_8478446_oxa...-concrete.html
You can find this powder in the paint store sold as "Savogran wood bleach" or "Rainbow" oxalic acid.
http://www.empireblended.com/images/oxalic-acid.pdf

It will come in a white plastic tub, or a blue cardbaord box respectively .

This changes the iron to a transparent ion and won't eat the cement.
