Morning gentlemen, it could rain today...I gave the Pavement Princess a good bath yesterday. So it's in our favor.I seem to recall hearing that either the same folks that own Magic Springs own/owned Dog Patch or they bought a fair amount of the stuff down from Jasper to Hot Springs. I haven't been into Magic Springs in a good 20 years, so I don't have a clue what's there. Do they still have that log ride thing that is part roller coaster and part water ride?

Why do you ask? Got a trailer? Im thinking about changing my next 'big' purchase from a riding mower to a damn trailer.

Morning gentlemen.
Kewl, I don't know if we'd get our money out of season passes since it's 2 1/2 hours from the homestead (and certain members of my family don't do too well in "warm weather")...but may have to look into that if I ever get to work out of FSM again. This month marks 42 months I've been in exile. That's an excellent idea. A couple of buddies and I went in three ways on a 10k bumper pull car hauler. Or at least when it was listed on Craig's List...it was described as one. When we went to look at it...we were disappointed. But for $1k we paid for the entire trailer...the axles were worth that, so I drug it to the shop. At some point we'll get the dove tail built & welded on; swap the hitch to a 2 5/16" (got a 2") and straighten out all of the wiring.

Brought home another truck yesterday. I was more worried about pulling with my '82 than anything else. The biggest load I ever put behind her was pulling my '90 around in the yard & 4 tires/rims off a deuce & half. So never really had a load on the road. A month or so ago I welded in a receiver hitch so I could pull a log splitter but that ordeal never happened. I was honestly worried about it breaking off & Ronnie's trailer running into something. It made it even though it was a slow drive. Tall axle gears suck *** for pulling & 3rd sing one hell of a song.
The new truck, which is a parts truck, is a 73 or 74 F100, regular cab long bed. No motor but the 3speed manual is still there with floor shift & column shift parts. Couple extra flywheels & clutch assembly. The bed had a few chebby parts, hood & headlight assembly from a 87-91.

Anyone else get any of the rain we were getting this morning at the fort?
Are you sure on that date line? Sure looks like a 78-81 vintage truck to me. The 87-91 had the square flush mounted headlights...I think they were the first to use the plastic headlight housings. Looks like you more than just truck parts with it too...what a deal!
