Well considering it only had 27k on it when I signed the note 4 years ago; I think I'm doing pretty dang good. Though it's seen the inside of a body shop WAY too much lately. The truck had sat allot before I "found it".

Looks like it might be the right size for dinner in a couple of weeks. Which means that bird would be about 10 pounds...what's the going $$$ rate for chicken by the pound?

I more than plan to have that many miles on the truck...though I'm not sure how many years it will take me to get there. Right now about 8 years...but then things do and have changed over the years.
Its a Tyson chicken so it goes from hatching to kill in 8 or 9 weeks & I believe they are around 10-12 lbs. Growers dont make crap from what I heard.
At walmart its over $2/lb. Through work I can get boneless-skinless breasts for $1/lb. Wings, thighs, drumsticks & leg quarters are something like $.50/lb or less.

The wife has couple of cousins in Oklahoma that grow for OK Foods and during different family dysfunctions I've picked up different tidbits about the growers part of the chicken business. It's interesting just how fast they grow the birds.
We have two Tyson feed mills on our line (Auroa & Bergman), it's amazing the amount of corn both mills go through in a week...6500-7000 tons. And the speed they unload the corn is just as interesting to me...under 10 hours the entire train is empty and headed back north.
The "brown truck" made a stop at my house today 1 cryro powerslot rotor ,1 box of Hawk performance pads and 1 heavy duty 4-row rad for my 51 8N. The other rotor is to be delivered tomorrow. Still gonna have to wait on exhaust manifold for the 8N didn't realize it was bad thought it was just a gasket.
