I think I should get paid the same and work less hours. Hmm. I'll have to ask the boss about that.

What is new in here?

I picked up the truck last night. The annoying whistle/howl is gone. It is sitting at Grandma's right now. The service adviser tried to tell me on the phone that they replaced a CAC tube that feeds the turbo. LOL, because that will cause my exhaust smell. Riiigghht... He was confused.

Anyway, the repair order says that they verified concern, P0299, smoke test found cracked LH feed pipe, remove turbo, disassemble and clean turbo due to carbon bild up, remove feed pipes and replace lh feed pipe, reassemble and retest ok, also had to replace oil dipstick because it cracked while performing the repair.

Parts were:
1 5C3Z-6K854-CA: Adaptor
1 3C3Z-9T514-AG: Kit - Hardware
4 W300013: Bolt
6 W300050: Nut - Hex. - Flanged
2 W300006: Bolt
1 6C3Z-6750-A: Indicator Asy - Oil Level

I will have to throw the tune back in it and see if she has her pep back.

on my way to AutoZone to get a code pulled hopefully. OD light decided to start flashing last night as we were leaving Mt. Rushmore. Disconnected batteries this morning to clear any funkiness. Light started flashing after about 15 miles of driving. Hopeully something simple.

Mmmmm, sounds good. You won't be as close as now, but still not too bad of a drive.

Called on that camper. Going to go look at it in the morning(or tonight) if the seller calls back.

We shall see about the camper, I was surprised to see it relisted for $500 less than the original posting. Won't be shocked if it is gone tonight.
I think my wife has ours sold before even looking at a different one...............

No luck at AutoZone. Their reader wouldn't read the tranny code. All it did was shut off the truck. Aamco refused to scan it. "too busy." Picked up a vehicle speed sensor (based on reading in the obs 7.3 forum). Worth a shot for $21.
