Good afternoon guys!

Sure is nice outside! Got a bunch of stuff done outside and just got back from cruising in the street rod a little bit.

Any word from Mike on that camper?

 

Finished replacing the VSS and CPS. Disconnected batteries to clear code again. OD light started flashing again after about 2-3 miles. Transmission is now in "safe mode" and shifting hard.

crap ... now what.

 

Hey Michael! Boy that sucks! I see you posted in the OBS section hopefully someone chimes in there. I hope you can nurse it home. I am not sure what the issue would be but doesn't sound real good shifting like that.

 

Good to see you had a nice ride in the street rod Troy.

The camper was definately a fixer. Lots of cosmetic stuff plus it didn't have an A/C unit or entry stairs at either door. Might be worth 3K tops with all it needs + all the cosmetic work.

 

That really sucks about the truck Michael. Hopefully it is something simple but you may need a transmission R&R GTG.

Well that sucks about the camper but there are plenty more out there.

 

Just made the best damn chili I have made yet. Could have eaten it all night. Still having a great time despite the truck issues.

 

We'll see what they say on Monday. I'm just hoping it's something simple or something that I can limp it home. We were hoping to go to the badlands tomorrow. We'll probably skip that and do something closer to the campground.

Oh well ... guess I'll find out the health of the transmission on Monday. It's the one thing I've been scared of on the truck. I knew it was used, but have no idea whether it was rebuilt or how many miles were on it.
