I have a Ford Ranger 1998 3.0 and I am now hearing a whistle when ever I accelerate. It disappears when I'm idle or not steeping on the gas. Could someone please help me try to repair this myself. I don't know where to start. I have looked under the hood when it is running, but it doesn't make the noise, only when I'm moving. Thanks
Do an Advanced Search using "whistle" and "whistling". You'll get a bunch of hits so you may have some reading to do to narrow down the problem. Here is one link that might help.
