6.7 noise see video

https://vimeo.com/150638754
Ratchet buzz noise my truck makes. Is not present until motor warms up. Noise is not present as much at idle but when you accelerate upwards to 1800 RPMs it makes such an obnoxious buzzing noise its embarrassing. Noise seems to come from top center area of motor. Any help appreciated.

Can you post a link to your other forum thread for a sanity check with the guy's over here? But again your engine sounds like a normal 6.7 turbo diesel to me.

Are you referring to that buzzing noise? I would think its some sort of exhaust leak.

I can definitely hear the strange buzzing sound. Exhaust leak or something loose and vibrating.

Not disagreeing per se, but if it is an exhaust leak, the smell ought to be obvious.

Welcome to the forum, Snyder518. Have you mentioned the noise to your dealer so they can inspect? What's your truck's model year/mileage?

There is a clear buzzing or vibrating sound as you mention. My truck does not make that noise. I agree, I would check turbo plumbing. It sounds more audible on the driver's side - have you checked both pipes in and out of the CAC?
